We are unable to attend the public hearing in Osakis today in regards to the forming of the Osakis Lake Improvement District which we are strongly in favor of. Our areas of concern that still need to be addressed is the feed lot contamination and agricultural run off. The suggested method of sediment ponds is wise, but expensive. We hope the formation of this district will provide the proper government agencies to grant funding for a much needed solution.
