Driver 1: Kassandra Sharon Ross-Strand, Age 20 of Graceville, MN
Driver 2: Estelle Marie Garvin, Age 58 of Alexandria, MN
Details: On March 17th, 2024 at 9:03 am The Douglas County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle motor vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of County Road 17 SE and County Road 4 SE. Deputies arrived on scene and determined that a red Chevy Equinox was southbound on County Road 17 SE being driven by a 20-year old woman from Graceville, Minnesota and a white Buick Encore was traveling west on County Road 77 SE by a 58-year old Alexandria Woman. It is believed that the driver of the white Buick Encore failed to stop for a stop sign on County Road 77 SE and proceeded into the intersection and collided with the red Chevy Equinox that was Southbound on County Road 17 SE. Forada Fire & First Responders responded and began to assist removing an occupant from one of the vehicles. North Ambulance arrived shortly after and transported both drivers to Alomere Health for injuries sustained in the accident. One of the drivers was later transported to the St. Cloud Hospital by North Ambulance. Responding agencies included the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, Forada Fire & First Responders, and North Ambulance.
