Driver 1: Jacalyn Ann Hoecker, Age 68 of Miltona, MN
Driver 2: Neil Jay Scherr, Age 56 of Alexandria, MN
Passenger: Ann Catherine Scherr, Age 56 of Alexandria, MN
Details: On 6/18/2023 at approximately 0947 hours the Douglas County Sheriffs Office received a report of a 2 vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of Co Rd 3 NE and Co Rd 36 NE. When deputies arrived on scene they found that an SUV and a Can Am UTV were involved in an accident at the intersection. The driver and passenger of the Can Am were treated by North and Parkers Prairie Ambulance on scene and transported to Alomere Hospital with non life threatening injuries. The driver of the SUV was uninjured. Further investigation indicated the side by side was traveling northbound on Co Rd 3 and was struck by the SUV traveling Eastbound on Co Rd 36 and turning North onto Co Rd 3 causing the UTV to roll into the ditch. All parties were wearing their seat belts. Assisting the Douglas County Sheriff's Office was Miltona First Responders, North Ambulance, and Parkers Prairie Ambulance.
