WHERE WE ARE LOCATED:
Memorial Park, as we usually call it, is located in the City of Alexandria. Beginning at the North end of Broadway Street, go east on 3rd Ave to Nokomis. Turn north onto Nokomis Street and travel north 7 blocks and turn left onto County Highway 42. It is approximately 1 mile to Parkside Road NE and the park entrance.
The park is located on the County Road 42 Bicycle Route. 10 foot paved shoulders on both sides CR42 link the park to the Central Lakes State Trail and the bicycle route encircling Lake Le Homme Dieu.
Deputy Curt Felt Memorial Park
Has it all for a family afternoon. There is a ball field, three playground areas, modern restrooms, picnic shelters, and a baseball/softball field. The location in Alexandria makes it an ideal spot if you are looking for a break from the lakes.
