Lake Brophy Park is located in LaGrande Township of Douglas County,
Minnesota. From Alexandria, go west on County Highway 82 approximately
3 1\2 miles to the park entrance.
Lake Brophy Wayside Park
has the historic wayside rest that was built as a public works project in the 1930’s. The park contains 6 acres and a little over 1,000 foot of lake Brophy shoreline. It is a great spot to pull over and take a break or have an afternoon picnic. With ample green space, picnic tables, water access, playground, and fire rings. Lake Brophy Wayside is an excellent choice to pull over and take a break.
