Park Description:
Kensington Rune Stone Park is located at 8965 County Rd 103 SW Kensington, MN 56343. This 380-acre park has a wide array of offerings ranging from the historic Ohman farmyard and discovery site of the Rune Stone to the beautiful landscapes to enjoy year-round. Kensington Rune Stone Park features a climate-controlled Visitor Center space with indoor restrooms attached, that can be rented for your next event. This park also has newly developed dedicated mountain bike trails, and nearly 8 miles of multi-use trail to ride, run, horseback and hike on. In addition to a large sledding hill and groomed cross-country ski trails, there are groomed trails for Fat Tire bikes in the winter. The trails weave through the oak, maple, and aspen forest mixing in lakes and small prairie meadows.
